Aleksejs Širokovs (born 20 February 1981) is Latvian professional ice-hockey player, who currently plays for Dinamo Riga.Most of his professional player career spent Širokovs Latvian Hockey League s club HK Liepaja City ranks, becoming a binary Latvia s champion. From 2004. until 2007. The Širokovs played in several Russian Superleague s and Russian Supreme League club, but played the 2007-08 season, Belarusian Extraliga s club Žlobinas "Metallurg" .
