This technique is unique to Ryū due to it originating from his Eye of Ares and requiring no hand seals. Ryū creates a small object that resembles a scale and reflects like a mirror. The mirror itself is no bigger than a man's index finger and floats in the air directly in front of Ryū. The mirror serves the purpose of taking an attack and turning it back upon the opponent at the same strength. In the case of purely physical attacks the mirror will absorb the force generated by the blow and immediately shatter, leaving Ryū vulnerable for the next three minutes without the use of his Eye of Ares.
