Ogyas III was an arctic world home to a Cardassian research facility during the Dominion War. It had been the site of previous Cardassian and Romulan skirmishes. In 2374, Rugal Pa'Dar received a medal from Gul Rantok for "conspicuous valor shown during the evacuation of the civilian population" during a Romulan attack on the ice world.
