Romachko Skuretty (pronounced roe-MAHCH-koe skir-REHT-ee) was a member of the Alakut Island council and a Kugiskan. His mistress was Chiora Jossaryk. The Alakut council had turned down Bennat Ladradun's request for more funds for his fire brigade. For revenge, Ben burned the house of a mistress of a councilmember, instead of a councilmember's house.
