Skill Swappers are a new enhancement introduced in the 3DS v1.3.14 and Mobile v1.7.2 updates. Certain Pokémon can change their ability using this item. The player will be able to see the list of possible abilities the Pokémon can switch to before actually consuming the item. The Pokémon can also switch back to its original ability if it was changed before. Each ability of a Pokémon will have its own Skill Level and Skill Gauge that doesn't reset upon using this item. These Pokémon can use Skill Swappers (the first one is its default ability):
