Ann Carol Crispin was a science fiction writer and the author of over sixteen published novels, including The Han Solo Trilogy. She had also written two Star Wars short stories: Play It Again, Figrin D'an: The Tale of Muftak and Kabe for Tales from the Mos Eisley Cantina and Skin Deep: The Fat Dancer's Tale for Tales from Jabba's Palace and several Star Trek novels, and created her own original science fiction series called StarBridge. She was married to science fiction author Michael Capobianco.
