Sir Giacomo was a fictional character in the Earth movie "The Court Jester". Doctor Phlox watched a scene from this movie in the mess hall while eating popcorn. The lead actor Danny Kaye was referred to as Giacomo in this scene. (ENT: "Doctor's Orders") In the film, Kaye's character takes the identity of Giacomo as an alias. Though not seen in this episode, the "real" Giacomo was played by actor John Carradine, father to ENT guest star Keith Carradine.
