The Cardassian sun was the primary of the Cardassian system. There were five known planets that orbited this star. The Cardassian sun was particularly warm in the Hutet labor camp on Cardassia IV. (DS9: "The Homecoming") In 2373, Tekeny Ghemor angrily told Dukat and Weyoun he would not stop publicly condemning Dukat and the Dominion "for a few short days under the Cardassian sun" in return for doing so.
