Max and 99 investigate the establishment when laundry tickets are found in the possession of movie actor Russell Bediyoskin. When 99 recognises a man in the shop as having appeared as a drunk at the hotel where Bediyoskin was shot, she surmises that he was Bediyoskin's bookie and that he shot Bediyoskin. Since it is assumed that Bediyoskin was shot in order to prevent him from revealing infromation about KAOS's theft of Formula 6076767 from the CONTROL laboratory, it is further implied that the laundry/bookmaker is a KAOS operation.
