Simon McMooran is a high druid. He is the Yu-Gi-Oh! The Duelists of the Roses incarnation of Shimon Muran. At the request of Margaret Mai Beaufort, Simon requested summoned a duelist from another age to fight for the Red Roses. The player takes on the role of the duelist summoned. Simon explains how he summoned the duelist and offers to teach them the rules of the game. Seto interrupts them and begins to argue with Simon. Seto tells the duelist that they need 16 Rose Cards to return to their time and both sides have 8 cards, so they may side with either Red or White Roses. The player is then left to decide which side to join.
