The Red Ring of Death is a glitch in the xbox 360 console in which 4 glitches could have occurred : • a hardware failure ( one red quadrant ) • general hardware failure(3 red quadrants ) • overheating (2 red quadrants) • av cable error( all four quadrants red) This glitch has made the xbox 360 infamous. Some people call this the cousin to the windows blue screen of death
