The National Biosurveillance Group (NBSG) comprised of representatives from all member agencies, integrates and analyzes all-agency/source biosurveillance information to recognize unusual biological events and provide situational awareness to the NBIS community and decision-makers through the development of a biosurveillance common operating picture (BCOP) and targeting reporting.
