Tomčalová studied management for two years in Brno, and worked as a manager of a large hotel in the Czech city of Zlín, and in other companies as an accountant and marketing coordinator. She found that the work was financially unsatisfactory, so she moved on to modeling, first lingerie, then nude in magazines, and finally to pornographic films. She wasPenthouse Pet of the Year in 1996 (Czech edition). After her introduction to the American porn industry, she won the People's Choice Adult Award "Best Newcomer" in 1997 and October 1998 Penthouse Pet of the Month (U.S. edition).
