Dr Onkar Singh Sahota (born 1966) is a general practitioner and Labour Party politician. His parents moved from Punjab, India, in 1961 and he grew up in Hayes. He graduated from Sheffield University Medical School in 1989, and has a medical practice as a family doctor in the Hanwell and Southall areas. In 2012 he was elected to the London Assembly as a Member for Ealing and Hillingdon Constituency. He unseated the incumbent Conservative Party member, Richard Barnes, in an unexpected result. He was re-elected in 2016 with an increased majority.
