"Kids' Dream" (KD) is the first story arc of the storyline of the Captain Tsubasa series. The first part of the original manga series, this story arc has been adapted in all three TV anime. The arc is also known as the "elementary school arc" or "Shogakusei Hen" (小学生編, shougakusei hen). These terms started to be used in the Shueisha Jump Remix (SJR) editions of Captain Tsubasa. KD was first used in the 2006 SJR version.
