The city of Iziz was built centuries before the outbreak of the Clone War and quickly became the planet's largest settlement and seat of power. Housing the planet's only major spaceport and royal palace it was built with high walls to keep out the dangerous beasts native to the planet and its nearby moon. A series of turret towers and guard stations along the city's walls helped to defend against internal and external threats. It was sixteen hundred square kilometers in area with millions of inhabitants and served as the base of the CIS droid army on Onderon.
