Aedan is an Anti-Hero in a number of Final Fantasy XIII Fanfictions and a Sanctum L'Cie, his brand's only usage is to keep track of him for Barthandelus since he is immune to the control that fal'Cie over their L'Cie brands and it is later revealed he is the half-human son of Etro, therefore should he eventually choose to he would become one of the first "Human" Gods. Aedan is revealed to have been eternally young, outside of Crystal stasis for thousands of years but his memories have been erased, recently he is trying to get his old lover (aka Roderick) to remember some of their past lives as they come back to them and protect Roderick from himself.
