The building of the Gold Exchange was well guarded, and no one attempted to rob it until Intergang came into possession of a tank. Their new tank rammed straight through the doors, but was stopped by Superman before it could do more damage. He delivered the tank and its drivers to the SCU, who were camped outside the building.
