Bealdour is a series of sci-fi novels written by Jack Cassel. The series centers around a teenage boy named Brett Mason, who discovers that his father wad part of an alien race that now needs his help. The series has five books, and as of 2014 is the second-best selling young adult novel series behind only the Harry Potter series. Warner Bros. purchased the film rights in 2013 and is currently developing a film series directed by Joseph Kosinski and starring Colton Haynes as Brett.
