Aurpan was a poet travelling across the Great Dry on the Cracked Pot Trail to Farrog to compete for the Mantle of The Century's Greatest Artist. He was the author of Accusations of a Guilty Man and was loved by the common people. Rival poet Brash Phluster thought his popularity proved his lack of genius.
