The Missile Turret is a mid-development defense turret unlocked once the Level 1 Missiles research is complete.This is probably the first turret capable of inflicting any meaningful damage on the attacker, able to counter attacks larger than small fighter swarms. These are usually the first turrets built by an experienced player, should they decide not to go straight to Ion Turrets.
