"Photon" (光子（フォトン） Foton), is an archetype used by Kite Tenjo in Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL. Members have existed in the TCG/OCG since Photon Shockwave, but only have support in the Yu-Gi-Oh! ZEXAL anime. Though almost all members of this archetype have "Photon" in their TCG names, the anime-only support cards for this and the "Photon" archetype list them as separate from one another. In physics, a photon is an elementary particle, the quantum of light and all other forms of electromagnetic radiation, and the force carrier for the electromagnetic force. See also: Photon
