Calvin Hutchison, also known as Cal, was a male human Federation Starfleet officer holding the rank of commander in the 24th century. He was in charge of Arkaria Base and known to be a master of "small talk." By his own admission, he was not a fan of his first name. In 2365 Hutchison had met Beverly Crusher; he did not see her again until 2369.
