Kaselt Vren was a male Doloy officer of the Royal Navy of the Golden Empire. Born on the Doloy homeworld of Dolomir, Vren served during the Tribulation, fighting under the overall command of Legate Salome Hrek. By 150 ABY at the latest, he had risen to the rank and position of captain, and was commanding officer of the Firebird-class war cruiser Convarion. Leading a small flotilla consisting of the Convarion and a pair of Iscandar-class frigates, he was assigned to patrol the borders of the Empire in what had once been the territory of the Vagaari Empire.
