The Battle of the Abyss was the second battle of the Zao tenj War and the first full-scale meeting between the two superpowers that were the Sith Order of Decreto and the Zao tenj. Fought in the void between the two galaxies, the battle was the first battle in recorded history fought outside of a galaxy. It would become known to the people of the Decreton Empire as "the abyss". Although the exact details of the battle are unknown, with the destruction of the 1st Sith Fleet the galaxy would find itself wide open to the Zao tenj should they decide to invade.
