Andreea Madalina Raducan is a retired Romania gymnast who competed at the 2000 Olympics. Raducan helped her team win gold and she also won a silver medal in the vault. Raducan had won the all-around competition but had he medal stripped when she tested positive for a banned substance when she was given an over-the-counter medication to help with a cough and fever she was experiencing. Appeals made by Raducan and the Romanian federation where rejected and the gold medal and title went to teammate Simona Amanar who has refused to publicly acknowledge herself as the winner. Raducuan retired in 2002.
