Zangari was a resident of Palm Springs and was allegedly a soldier in the Los Angeles family since 1984 when he became a made member under then boss Peter Milano. He was made in the same ceremony as the Charles "Bobby Milano" Caci and was assigned to the crew of capo Jimmy Caci. He started off as a bookie in Palm Springs where his brothers owned a restaurant and a gift shop. Zangari later moved to Buffalo, New York and is currently inactive in the Los Angeles family.
