Durasteel Chef was a regional cooking competition held on various worlds. Entrants were to create meal courses focusing on a specific ingredient and were judged on presentation, taste, and technique. Pepan Manja, a Kubaz culinary arts student, entered a local Durasteel Chef competition under the encouragement of classmates and instructors. His dish was given a negative review by Riileb food critic Nik'tak.
