Nicolae Jetty Carpathia (NICK-o-lye Car-PAY-thee-ah), also known as the Antichrist, is a fictional character and the secondary antagonist in the Left Behind book series written by Tim LaHaye and Jerry B. Jenkins. He was originally introduced as the main antagonist when the first books were written, but as more books were written, he was revealed to be merely a bit player to the book series' true main villain.
