At one time this planet was discovered by the Ursini, and they began to colonize it, and built a colony on the surface. Some time later, a group of Ursini left the planet, after berzerker drones 'awoke', with the objective of finding a way to stop the drones. After the group found a seed ship, a Control Ship found the colony and wiped out the Ursini with drones.
