The Indefatigable had been on a mission of mercy on the outskirts of the Dominion war zone when it was surrounded by a dozen Jem'Hadar warships. Counselor T'Lana had advised Captain Karina Wozniak that her impression of the Jem'Hadar was that they could not be negotiated with, but her captain was not even given the chance to make the attempt.
