Bryan Bender is a Hollywood film actor who portrays Andy in the film "Sheriff Without a Gun". He is portrayed by Gavin MacLeod. When Andy, Aunt Bee and Opie travel to Hollywood, they first meet Bryan on the set and soundstage of Bellmont Pictures. Bryan is friendly and outgoing and can sometimes come off as a bit of a 'corn-ball'. He is bald, but wears a toupee while filming as Andy Taylor.
