Corps Commander Acei Brovey is the only human to have achieved the rank of a corps or fleet commanding officer in the Nymean military. He was among the many refugees from the Battle of Coruscant that were evacuated. As a former field officer of the Galactic Alliance army, he was qualified to command a corps of troops. In order to satisfy the large Coruscanti population in the Ascendancy, he was placed in command of the Tenth Nymean Corps which protected the Expansion Region where most of the Coruscanti settled. Around three quarters of his force are Coruscanti.
