Kron was a male Klingon in the Klingon Defense Force. As of the year 2287, he had served as an officer of the IKS Okrona under Captain Klaa. Kron believed that after the failure of Klaa to capture Starfleet Captain James T. Kirk at Sha Ka Ree that he was ripe for assassination. Executive Officer Vixis was aware of Kron's plans. In 2287 Kron used a garotte hidden in his belt to assault Klaa in the Okrona's weapons bay. After Klaa had overpowered him, he stuffed Kron in a photon torpedo and had him shot into space, killing him. (TOS comic: "The Sentence")
