T'Kel was a female Vulcan active as an officer in the Federation Starfleet in the early 25th century. In 2411, T'Kel held the rank of commander and was the commanding officer of the Defiant-class starship USS Laikan. On 4 January she was in charge of an attack wing of similar ships under Commodore Kanril Eleya and was killed in action when her ship was caught between three Borg probes.
