Tales of the Abyss is a 26-episode Japanese animation series jointly produced by Bandai Visual, Namco, and Sunrise. It is based on the PlayStation 2 game of the same name. Directed by Kenji Kodama, the first episode premiered in Japan on Tokyo MX TV on October 3, 2008. Two pieces of theme music are used for the episodes: one opening theme and one ending theme. The opening theme, "Karma" by Bump of Chicken, is the original opening theme for the source game. The ending theme is "Bouken Suisei" (冒険彗星?) by Kurumi Enomoto.
