The 1977-06 was a national championship Modified Tour event held at Martinsville Speedway on April 23, 1977. Paul Radford grabbed his second and final victory of the season in the 250 lap event, as well as winning the late model sportsman feature of 250 laps, making it a sweep of both races in what was called the Dogwood 500.
