Joan Huertes was a Solarian citizen and journalist. She was the Interstellar News Service anchorwoman for the People's Republic of Haven. She covered the "execution" of Honor Harrington, and later attempted to get a comment from the Secretary of Public Information when Harrington returned to Alliance space alive. (HH8, HH9)
