'Copter Chase Over L.A. is a recurring piece of composed by Sean Callery included on the first soundtrack released. It occurs throughout scenes from Season 3 and 4. In the booklet for the soundtrack, Callery talks of the track. He says "A fantastic helicopter chase ensues over the skies of Los Angeles when Jack hijacks a helicopter after breaking Ramon Salazar out of jail. The helicopter chases on "24" are always very exciting, but they make a lot of noise, and often the music score gets mixed father back behind the sound effects. Here the score is heard without the helicopters and aircraft. When the score gets quieter in places, those are the areas where the scenes cut back to CTU where Tony and Michelle and monitoring radio communications."
