Oddly enough, the fusioncutter's destructive beam would automatically repair vehicles, droids, and turrets to perfect condition in seconds. It could even construct said droids and turrets from piles of wreckage. Its only drawback in battle was that it was programmed with ethical subroutines preventing it from being used as a weapon. Mandalorian Army knives often incorporated fusioncutters in their design.
