The Alpha Virus, commonly abbreviated as "A-Virus", is a variant of the Progenitor Virus developed by Grant Wesker. The A-Virus was created by combining the Veronica virus and animal DNA with the G-virus variant within Sherry Birkin's blood. They were only three syringes containing it are known of — one was used and the other two were destroyed. Grant Wesker is the only one who knows how to produce it.
