Tenodera sinensis is a species of mantis. This species is variable by size and color. The color of the mantis actually show aggression level. The males of this species remain one color and are more prone to biting and clawing due to the rather fearfull and jumpy behavior of males. Green female are very aggressive in this species and unlike the brown females, green ones are known to flare wings and strike at the disturbance of themselves or even the territory. Both colors will flee at first disturbance. Brown female are now known to strike or flare, but the do claw and bite when grabbed viciously.
