The Apocalypse Ponies are the titular villains of a short but memorable Robot Chicken skit parodying the original MLP toys (prior to the FiM phenomena) - they are also parodies of the Biblical Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse. The skit itself can be considered offensive (like most Robot Chicken skits) and relies on black humor - yet it is tamer than most other Robot Chicken skits and derives humor from the sheer out-of-place nature of demonic ponies.
