The Battle of Pegasi Delta was a major engagement of the Human-Covenant War, taking place in mid-2545. After several failed attempts to destroy a sizable Covenant logistics base, the United Nations Space Command launched Operation: TORPEDO, deploying three hundred S-III commandos against the installation. The commandos were ultimately successful in destroying the Covenant facility despite taking tremendous losses in the process.
