The only Kuchikis we know (asides from Rukia and Hisana) Ginrei, Sojun, Byakuya and the Anime-only Kouga have all been in the 6th division, but it has not been stated that they are automatically sent to that division or that the family has a connection to the division. Until such is said, we can't know for sure.
