William Danner was a Philadelphia Assistant District Attorney in the 1990's and 2000's. Danner was a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania. In 1994, he prosecuted Andre Tibbs for the rape and murder of Kate Lange. Though Andre maintained his innocence, he was convicted based on being identified in the Lange home by Kate's father Mike Lange and Andre being caught three blocks from the house with blood on his boots. Andre had been at the house earlier that day as part of a moving crew and claimed he had returned to leave a letter to Mike Lange apologizing for a fight they'd had earlier that day.
