These are large, formidable enemies, and their large LP and powerful attack doesn't make things much better. These enemies are quite powerful, and shoot 3 fire Bolts that pierce terrain and characters. Using Black Crystals should help negate some of the damage taken from it. It is suggested to outrange them and drain their massive LP with Poison type weapons. Constantly using Freeze or Ice type weapons against them makes them rather easy to defeat. This enemy used to have the largest gold drop of any non-boss enemy of the game, before ver8.8. The first one to break this record was the Tan Big Box Snake.
