Hinode Island (日の出島, Hinode-jima)is a tropical Island that is found in the West Blue, famed as the birthplace of Tanimaru of the Sujata Pirates and the fighting style known as Kasamochi. The Island is famous for it's beautiful sunrises, thus why the island was given it's name. The island originally was under the protection of the World Government, however due to the political unrest arising on the island. Currently a civil war has broken out amongst the various factions, who wish to secure power over trade and commerce. The World Government, has declared the Island to be it's own independent nation.
