Nick is astonished to receive a phone call from Schanke from Germany; but even more so when his supposedly dead partner explains that he had been kidnapped by werewolves just before the plane took off in "Black Buddha, Part Two". With vampires now outed, the two partners are promoted and put in charge of the newly formed Paranormal Investigation Unit.
