Blaster Registration Act was proposed by Magnum Rockwater and Kellen Varundle and passed by Supreme Chancellor Orasco. It was proposed successfully after the Blaster Control Act and Food and Spice Administration bills. It required the registration of all weapons, specifically blaster pistols, with the Galactic Republic. No weapon was immune to the registration, including previously-owned blasters and weapons. It was passed thoroughly due to the thinking that Senators disliked weapons because of death threats and assassination attempts placed on them. It was said to be the single most active law in the galaxy because of the constant exchange of weapons throughout the thousands of star systems.
